T-DAY...

Only my Volleyball girls know this but in college my nickname became T-day because of my love for the holiday. I must admit its the best one! Thanksgiving is a time of great food, lots of family, a little football and euchre, and of course sleep. It never fails every year I fall asleep downstairs in the middle of the day and usually my aunt takes pictures. I think they put something in the turkey but I also fall asleep like almost half of the next day, its great! My mom and her crazy posse go shopping from 5am-5am the day after and I just cant give up the sleep. In conclusion...I cant wait, I am so excited in the anticipation of the best holiday of the year!

Officially not ready for kids...

So its official....I am not ready to be a mother. Cami went out of town last night and I was left with Katie. Responsibility was minimal, get her from school, get her dinner bath and bed, then get her ready for school in the morning and drop her off. You'd think, oh not so big of a deal. I handled it, but I was a crazy person. I never understood why my mom ran around the house up and down and up and down all morning long until today.

I have a newfound overwhelming respect for my mom and all she has done for me. So this morning, I grab her clothes and get her dressed and make her poptart then do my hair and half done I get her backpack and shoes ready, then get my purse and makeup, then realize I dont remember where I put her shoes and that we are already late and my hair is still half done and I have no makeup on. No wonder moms are crazy! One simple task of getting ready in the morning turns into craziness. Maybe next time I will opt for sanity over sleep and get up an hour earlier.

My New Favorite Place and My New Best Friend

Since moving to Louisville, I am have found that this park, Browns Park, is my new favorite place. It has a cool bridge and cool ducks and lots of trees and water. I love it there, its so beautiful! One day last week I walked around all day just looking around and breathing in the fresh air. This duck is also my new friend. So in conclusion.......I love Browns Park and I love this duck!
