"THE STRATOSPHERE"

So while in Vegas, which is a whole seperate post....Shawn and I went to the Stratosphere which is this humongo large thing that is 900 stories tall. You get to the top and can look out over the Las Vegas strip. Then on the top of this monster is a ride, a sort of Six Flags "giant drop" if you will. The ride is called "the big shot" and basically it shoots you up to 1200 ft in the air outside at night on the top of this monster tall of a building and drops you, raises you again, then drops you. I must say this is the most intense ride I have ever been on in my life, I had to make sure I didnt bruise shawn's hand from holding on to tightly.

Before going on I was about to pee my pants and after getting on I had to check to be sure I didnt pee my pants. Dang, thats all i have to say DANG! that was awesome!

Vegas here i come...

Its true I am headed to LAS VEGAS on Wednesday. This post is gonna be short cause I have tons to do before I leave however I wanted to tell the blogger world that what happens in Vegas doesnt necessarily stay in Vegas, a lengthy post full with pictures and stories will follow the trip. For now heres some fun facts about Las Vegas...

*Pray for the weather because of course the 5 day forecast calls for 3 days of rain...OF COURSE

*In Nevada it is mandatory that video slot machines pay a minimum of 75 percent on average.

*Bugsy Siegel named his casino the Flamingo after the long legs of his showgirl girlfriend.

*Howard Hughes stayed at the Desert Inn for so long that he was asked to leave. He bought the hotel.

*Average number of pillowcases washed daily at MGM Grand is 15,000

*I am going to visit a friend who is in ministry in "sin city", hmm this is gonna be fun!
